About the Annual Town Meeting

The Annual Town Meeting is a meeting for the residents of North Walsham. It gives local people the chance to come together to talk about issues that matter to the town, raise questions and hear updates of local interest. It is not a formal Town Council meeting, but a community forum led by the Chair or Vice Chair of the Council.

The meeting may be called by the Chair or Vice Chair of the Council and can only take place between 1 March and 1 June. It will not start before 6.00pm.

Town Councillors are not formally required to attend and, if they do attend, they take part as members of the public.

To go ahead, at least two members of the public must be present. If fewer than two residents attend, the meeting will be cancelled.
